If you manage one commercial dumpster enclosure, the simplest option is usually one license for that one physical structure. But contractors, developers, and property managers who oversee several sites may benefit from a five-project package. The important distinction is that buying more licenses does not give you unrestricted rights to reuse engineering drawings.

What does a Secure Dumpster plan license include?

Each licensed package references four standard configurations: SD-S single new build, SD-R single retrofit, SD-D double new build, and SD-RD double retrofit. The delivered files include site-marked architectural drawings and the original digitally signed structural sheets and calculations from Wynn Engineering. The actual structural documents govern design conditions and limitations.

One structure is not the same as one parcel

A one-site license is for one physical enclosure at the specified address. A double-bin enclosure counts as one structure, but building two separate enclosures at one shopping center still requires two licenses unless Steel Building USA agrees in writing to different terms.

How the five-site registration works

The $1,495 contractor pack allocates five separate project licenses. Each physical enclosure needs its own location and selected configuration before the documents are issued for that site. The five-site option is not a reusable master license for every future project and does not grant unlimited municipal adoption.

What happens to your plan fee if you buy our steel materials?

Steel Building USA credits 100% of the plan-license amount paid toward qualifying Secure Dumpster steel materials purchased directly from us for the same licensed enclosure and site. For one site, that normally means $495 in available credit. The five-pack allocates $299 to each of its five sites. Credits have no expiration and no minimum materials order; unused qualifying credit can carry forward. Credits do not pay taxes, freight, labor, permits or separately quoted engineering, and are not cash refunds.

Are the plans ready for every city?

No. Local authorities determine permit requirements. Buyers and their qualified professionals must verify property dimensions, existing wall/foundation conditions where relevant, zoning, fire access, accessibility, stormwater rules, soils, wind, seismic criteria and other applicable conditions. Projects outside the standard signed design limits may require separate engineering.

Choosing the right purchase

Choose one-site plans when there is one identified qualifying enclosure. Consider the five-site package when you know you need multiple separately licensed projects and can track those locations. For a municipality or a broader program, request a separately negotiated agreement specifying scope and sites.

Before purchasing, review the Secure Dumpster plan license, cancellation and refund terms. Digital files are not instant downloads: they are delivered privately after payment verification and site-license preparation.
