Secure Dumpster™ Engineering Services
Custom Dumpster Enclosure Engineering & Plan-Check Support
Standard engineered plans are designed for qualifying sites. If your property is outside the signed design limits or your city asks for additional structural details, request a paid engineering proposal.
Choose the extra engineering you need
1. Permit plan-check response
We review the city’s written corrections against the existing standard drawings and prepare a quote for needed engineering responses or supplemental details. Professional engineering work and revisions are separately authorized and billed after an agreed scope and price.
2. Site-specific structural engineering
Properties outside the standard wind, seismic, soil, snow, dimensional or existing-condition limits may need new calculations or revised details by an appropriately licensed engineer. We arrange a project-specific proposal based on site information and engineering scope.
3. Existing enclosure retrofit evaluation
Existing CMU/block walls, foundations, anchors, dimensions and gates require verification. We can quote a review or additional structural design when the standard retrofit sheets do not adequately cover those conditions.
4. Modified configuration or custom materials
Different enclosure dimensions, heights, gates, anchorage, foundations or roof geometry may require a separate engineered drawing package. We can also prepare a steel materials quote after engineering scope is established.
Pricing: Additional engineering is a paid service quoted by scope, not included in the $495 standard single-site plan license or the $1,495 five-site pack. We will provide a written scope, price and estimated delivery terms for your approval before commissioning engineering work. Permit fees, surveys, soils tests and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included in the written quotation.
What to send us
- Legal customer/contact name and project street address
- Which Secure Dumpster model you plan to use
- Municipal building/planning department correction letter, if applicable
- Photos of all sides and inside for retrofits
- Current enclosure sizes and hauler information
- Known soils, wind, seismic, and foundation documents
- The requested scope and deadline, if one exists
Important engineering limitations
All site-specific engineering requires a separately agreed project scope and review by the responsible design professional. The original digitally signed Wynn Engineering standard PDFs are not modified. A revised project-specific document must be separately prepared and signed by an authorized professional as applicable.
Approval by a city or agency is not guaranteed. Building, fire, accessibility, grading, stormwater, waste hauling and planning requirements remain the owner’s and project’s responsibility.
Get started
